Impacting the lives of children and families.
A New Direction in Giving.
At the One Eighty Foundation, it isn’t a one-size-fits-all way of giving. We tailor our support to the needs of the community and the organization. Whether it’s giving a monetary grant for educational programming, our time to help paint or restore a shelter, or to prepare and provide hot meals for the hungry, our efforts and commitments are to make an immediate and positive impact on the families and children we serve.
Now, we’re proud to launch our own initiative—Game ON!—with the goal of leveling the playing field for underprivileged youth through scholarships, sporting equipment, and athletic attire. Too often, kids are left on the sidelines due to financial barriers. Game ON! aims to remove those obstacles and open doors to the many benefits of youth sports, including improved health, stronger social skills, and lifelong values like teamwork, discipline, and leadership. This initiative furthers our mission of delivering immediate impact and expands our vision to create lasting, positive change in the communities where we live, work, and play.
Keeping Families Together
At the One Eighty Foundation, we believe that families thrive when they stay together. Since 2022, we have proudly supported King County Kinship Collaboration, providing a $300 monthly stipend to kinship caregivers—relatives who care for a family member's child outside of the formal foster-care system. These caregivers face immense financial challenges, and this critical support helps cover essential needs such as food, rent, clothing, and utilities.
To date, we have helped over 56 families remain stable and secure. Each dollar makes a tangible difference, offering not just financial relief but also hope.
As one caregiver shared:
"I appreciate this gift card so much! This commitment you have entered into is not only a blessing to me and my grand babies but to many others. My heart is full of thanks, gratitude, and appreciation. You have touched our lives!"
— Lori, Asher, and Kinsey, King County Kinship Collaboration Family
Continuing our Commitment
Thank you for your generous support. This has allowed Vine Maple Place to scale their Children & Youth (C&Y) Program, enabling more children experiencing homelessness to heal, grow, and learn new healthy patterns for breaking cycles of homelessness permanently. The One Eighty Foundation grant directly supported 100’s of children with hygiene and care products, holistic onsite programming focused on school success, social-emotional awareness, building healthy relationships, and coping with trauma and toxic stress. At the same time, C&Y programming integrated with holistic services for parents (housing, career development, financial literacy, parenting skills, and counseling) that helped entire families to stabilize, heal, and ultimately leave homelessness forever. Thanks to your contributions, 91% of families served remain stably housed 12 months after exiting Vine Maple Place’s program!
Support for Communities
Our commitment to community involvement extends beyond financial support, as exemplified by our recent volunteer day at Seattle's Union Gospel Mission's Hope Place a women’s recovery program. Serving up delicious meals and experiencing firsthand the impact of our contributions reaffirmed the profound difference we can make when we come together as a community.
